We have recently installed a new phone system at the surgery. This has been beneficial to us as it has given us more phone lines which is has been helpful as we are obviously making more phone calls than we used to.
However it has thrown up an unexpected problem in that if there is a delay in us answering the phone then the person automatically gets cut off. We, therefore, wanted to let everyone know we are aware of this problem and are working with the phone supplier to rectify the problem.
In the meantime we apologise for the inconvenience of this and we appreciate it is annoying to be cut off while waiting to get through to us, hopefully the problem will be resolved soon.
