Flu Vaccinations 2023 – Additional Clinics

There have arranged two additional flu clinics in Northiam and one in Broad Oak

In Broad Oak the clinic will be on the 2nd November between 11:20 and 12:30 am.

The Clinics in Northiam Surgery are on the 27th October 2:00-4:30 pm 1st November 8:30-12:00 am.

If you have a mobile registered with us you will be sent a link that will allow you to book an appointment online. All patients can call the surgery to make an appointment.

If you will be 65 on the 31st March 2024 then you will receive the over 65 vaccine.

At the present time we are only able to offer flu vaccination to registered patients under 65 who are in one of the following risk groups:

  • Chronic Heart Disease
  • Kidney disease stages 3-5
  • Is Immunosuppressed or lives with an immunosuppressed person
  • Obesity (body mass index >40)
  • Diabetes
  • Learning disability
  • Is pregnant
  • Lives in nursing home
  • Is registered as a carer
  • Splenic dysfunction
  • Chronic liver disease
  • Chronic Neurological disorders such as Parkinson’s Disease or Multiple Sclerosis
  • Has been hospitalised for Asthma

Patients Over 50 and Under 65 without a condition

Although in previous years there has been a general vaccination programme for those over 50 and under 65 this is not available as a part of the 2023/2024 vaccination programme at this time.
