The Group draws on organisations and individuals from the main geographic areas of the practice.
It meets four times a year and organises an biannual forum on topics of interest. The location rotates between Beckley, Broad Oak and Northiam.
It helps the practice in areas involving services for our patient. For example in the past they have done work with carers and have represented patient views in the recent changes with our health visitor. It also acts as a means for patients to express opinions about the Practice.
We are very grateful for the support and kind donations that some patients give to the practice. This money is held on our behalf in an account by the PPG and it is then used to purchase equipment for the practice. An example of a recent purchase is the defibrillator which is kept at Northiam and which has been used to good effect to resuscitate and save the life of one of our patients.
